Soundgarden - The Day I Tried To Live

Soundgarden fue metido dentro del saco del grunge. Un saco que nunca comprendí, porque Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, etc. tenían poco en común musicalmente. Yo personalmente siempre sentí predilección por Pearl Jam y Soundgarden, tal vez porque enraizaban más con el hard rock de los 70. A Soundgarden concretamente siempre le he encontrado un aroma de Black Sabbath. Chris Cornell, el vocalista del grupo, es considerado por muchos una de las mejores voces contemporáneas.

Soundgarden was lumped together under the name of grunge. A grouping that I never understood, because Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, etc., had little in common musically. Personally I always felt predilection for Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, perhaps because they feed clearly from the hard rock of the 70s. I always find a scent of Black Sabbath in Soundgarden music. Chris Cornell, lead singer, is considered by many people one of the best contemporary voices.
