Debussy - Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun (Nureyev + Stokowski)

El compositor francés Claude Debussy creó a finales del siglo XIX una de mis obras clásicas favoritas: una poema sinfónico titulado "Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune" (Preludio a la siesta de un fauno). En el video os traigo una actuación del bailarín Rudolf Nureyev sobre una coreografía del mítico Nijinsky. Hay pasajes musicales que ponen el vello de punta (p.e. el fragmento entre los minutos 4:30 y el 6:20).

The French composer Claude Debussy created at the end of the nineteenth century one of my favorite classical works: a symphonic poem entitled "Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune" (Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun). In the video I bring a performance by the dancer Rudolf Nureyev on a choreography by the legendary Nijinsky . There are musical passages that get goose bumps (ie the fragment between minutes 4:30 and 6:20).
